Apply for a Grant

The Nonprofit Sector plays an important role by creating a healthy community through projects to improve healthcare, educational opportunities, provide services to people in need, strengthen the arts, protect the environment and much more.

Community grants from the Community Foundation's unrestricted, field of interest, and donor advised funds are primarily focused in areas including:  Challenges and opportunities afforded by growth in Henderson County; poverty and its effects on Henderson County; access to health and mental health services; and public access to the arts.  Additional areas include:  animal care, arts and culture, civic and community, education, health and human services.
